Fireworks bans in the state like this year, multiple guidelines in Calcutta High Court
In Rajasthan and Orissa, burning fireworks is also banned in the state. Burning of firecrackers has been banned in all the festivals of the state this year including Kalipujo, Chhatpujo, Diwali. The sale of bets was also banned in the state in November. Like Durgapujo, Mandapa no entry zone has been set up in Kalipujo in the state following the Corona rules. Like Durgapujo, the Calcutta High Court has issued several directives to allow visitors to enter the mandapa.
Fireworks are banned in the state
The Calcutta High Court has banned the burning of fireworks in Kalipujo. Not only Kalipujo but also Diwali, Chhatpujo, Jagadhatri Pujo, Kartipujo, Christmas and all other festivals have been banned by the court like this year. The sale of fireworks and the burning of fireworks have been banned in Bengal since November. Earlier, the Rajasthan and Orissa governments banned betting.
No entry in mandapa in Kalipujo too
Like Durgapujo, Kalipujo has also been issued no entry in the mandapa by the Calcutta High Court. A bench of Justice Sanjeev Bandyopadhyay directed that the mandapa of Kalipujo should not be crowded in any way. Like Durgapujo, the 300-meter small mandapa will have no entry from 5 feet. No more than 10 people can be together. The big mandapa can accommodate 45 people.
Playing in immersion is not illumination
Kalipujo's immersion in the corona atmosphere has also been banned more than once. The Calcutta High Court has ruled that no musical instruments and lighting can be kept in Kalipujo like Durga Pujo. The Durgapujo Carnival was canceled this time as the Calcutta High Court had given the same order in Durgapujo.
Decision on Chhatpujo
The High Court has not yet ruled on Chhatpujo at Subhash Sarobar and Rabindra Sarobar. However, the court observed that it is desirable not to have chatpujo in these two lakes due to pollution. In this case, the decision of the Supreme Court has been monitored. On the day of the next hearing on January 10, the High Court wanted to know the state's preparations for crowd control in Chhatpujo.
