In this situation, the doctors' forum has written to the Chief Minister of the state, fearing that the death rate in Covid may increase a lot if the betting is going on in Diwali.
In an application made to the Chief Minister of the state on the same day, they said that a ban on betting can be imposed like this time. Otherwise, many people may die due to respiratory problems. They also said that although the corona is likely to damage various parts of the body, the lungs are the most affected. Now it is seen that many people have recovered very quickly from Kovid but then various problems are appearing in the body.
Someone is getting short of breath while moving a little, someone is having shortness of breath, someone or the body is getting weak. In their case, the smoke from the fireworks will be a death knell. Therefore, the forum has requested the state government to ban the sale and burning of fireworks this year. If it is not complied with, many deaths could occur, they said.
In this regard, the State Pollution Control Board said that it is very worrying that the PM2.5 level has exceeded 200. This is the first time since the lockdown that pollution in Kolkata and surrounding areas has reached such a level. Moreover, if fireworks are set on Diwali, it will reach a very dangerous level which has been seen for the last few decades. At that time, in addition to dust and sand, silicon and other harmful gases started flying in the air due to the effect of fireworks. As a result, those who suffer from respiratory problems during the fee year Diwali are more likely to have problems.
