Mumbai vs Chennai in the first match of IPL 2020

Finally, the BCCI released the full schedule of the IPL. As per the previous announcement, the tournament will start from September 19 in the United Arab Emirates. The first match of IPL will be held in Abu Dhabi. Defending champions Mumbai Indians and last year's runners-up Chennai Super Kings will face off.

The cricket world saw a dangerous battle between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings in the 2019 IPL final. Rohit Sharma's team won the final. IPL 2020 is starting with that amazement. Mumbai and Chennai will meet in the first match of the tournament on Saturday, September 19 in Abu Dhabi.

When is KKR and RCB match start?

Though it started on September 19, the campaign of Kolkata Knight Riders led by Dinesh Karthik is starting four days later. Andre Russell will play his first match against Mumbai Indians in Abu Dhabi. Royal Challengers Bangalore, led by Virat Kohli, is starting its IPL campaign on the 21st. Their opponent is Sunrisers Hyderabad. This is also the first match of the team led by David Warner in this year's IPL.

BCCI Announcement

The BCCI has released the schedule of IPL league matches on Sunday. Defending champions Mumbai Indians will face Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last league match on November 3 in Dubai. The IPL final is scheduled to be held on November 10. The BCCI will release the schedule of the knock-out stages of the tournament later.

According to the BCCI, the number of double header matches in this year's IPL is 10. In that case, the first match will start at 3:30 pm Indian time. There will be 24 matches in Dubai. Abu Dhabi and Sharjah will host 20 and 12 IPL matches respectively.
