The Delhi Union of Journalists roared against the mischievous attempt to block all reports of the Hathras incident. They expressed grief over the incident and condemned the administration. The phone of the rape victim's family has been seized and no one is allowed to go to the village to meet them.

Police are blocking the entrance of journalists and photo journalists when they try to enter the village. Police blocked their way as TMC MP Derek O'Brien, Kakli Ghoshdastidar and other leaders tried to enter the village. Earlier in the day, Congress officials threw Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to the ground. Bhim Sena leader Chandrashekhar Azad was also barred from Hathra.

"We express our condolences over this heinous incident and question the role of the Uttar Pradesh government in arbitrary censorship," the Delhi Union of Journalists said. What the government is trying to hide is political leaders, journalists are trapped. The government is forced to question who it does not want to protect.
