Will JEE & NEET to be postponed?

Opposition to NEET and JEE exams, opponents Mamta & Sonia re-united



It is not possible to take JEE, NEET test in Corona situation. Yesterday, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to  postponement  the exams. This time the opposition has started forming an alliance demanding the cancellation of this test. Sources said that Mamata Banerjee and Sonia Gandhi are discussing this. They will also discuss this with the chief ministers of other states.

It is not possible to take the test in corona situation. State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee  wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to cancel this exams. The Center should appeal to the Supreme Court to reconsider the JEE-NEET verdict considering the health of the candidates. According to the importance of the current situation, take appropriate action regarding the postponement of the examination. Mamata has demanded the intervention of the Prime Minister in this regard.

Mamata-Sonia meeting

Opposition groups called for a boycott of the JEE-NEET exam. According to sources, Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Mamata Banerjee had a meeting on this. The two leaders will hold meetings with the chief ministers of other states by 2.30 pm on Wednesday.

Meetings with non-BJP States

Mamata will hold meetings with all  non-BJP states on JEE-NEET exams. And Sonia ,Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will sit down to discuss this. A meeting with the chief ministers is scheduled for the first week of September. 

Test in September

All India JEE, NEET exam was supposed to be held from 1st September. But parents are concerned that corona  is on the rise across the country. They have expressed concern about how the test will be taken in this situation. Earlier, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had demanded to postpone the examination.

 Just when the controversy over the JEE-NEET exam was at its peak, the Education Minister countered by saying that the students were the ones who wanted to take the exam. So there is no question of canceling the test. 80 percent of the candidates who have downloaded their admit cards. On the other hand, the National Testing Agency has also said that the test should be done on time.

Demand to cancel the test

National Testing Agency in the test

Meanwhile, the National Testing Agency, however, has taken a firm stand on the decision to take the test. The company has informed that the test will be taken on the scheduled day in September. There will be no change of days. The Joint Entrance Main Examination is scheduled to take place on September 1-6. September 13 is the day of NEET exam.

Meanwhile, the Union Education Minister said, the country's candidates want to take the exam. That is why 80 percent of the examinees have downloaded the admit card. That is why the examination will be held on the scheduled day, said the Union Education Minister.
